As some of our readers may already know, there have been many changes in staffing at the Uniting Church Centre over the last few months, with a number of redundancies.
The Media and Communications Team will, sadly, farewell Andy Reavell as our Production Officer at the end of April. Andy has been working at the Uniting Church WA for more than ten years and has been instrumental in the production of Revive, as well as loads of other Uniting Church WA publications and design work.
I’ve worked with Andy for ten years this April, and I know this office will not be the same without him.
With this decision, we will need to make some changes to the work we do, and how we do it. This means that Revive in its current form will cease after our April edition.
There are a number of options for Revive, the main ones being reducing how often Revive is printed or going solely digital on this online platform.
This is a huge decision for the leadership of the Uniting Church WA, as Revive is one of our main methods of communication, both to Uniting Church WA members and the wider public, through our Good Sammy op-shops, schools and agencies. We would really like your input, as our valued readers, as to how you would like to read Revive in the future. So, we’re inviting you to take part in a short, five to ten minute survey.
You’ll get a chance to give feedback on Revive, as well as our other forms of communication. Your responses will help to decide what you value in our work, what we can change, and how we can evolve to do better. To take part in the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/r/UnitingChurchofWA
If you don’t have access to the online survey, please call us and we can do the survey over the phone. We’d love to hear from you! Call the Uniting Church Centre on 9260 9800 or 1300 736 692 for country callers.
I encourage all of our readers to take part in the survey, whether you’re a Uniting Church member or not. We look forward to reading all your responses.
